CQI-9 Training

CQI-9-4

Heat treatment is one of the 8 different special processes determined by AIAG. It is a must for the instructor who will provide this special process training to have this expertise.

BDI Metal is a proven training provider in heat treatment, thanks to its more than 20 years of heat treatment experience and numerous main industry evaluations (audits).

A success certificate will be issued to those who pass the online test at the end of the training, and a participant certificate will be issued to those who cannot pass.

This training may vary between 7-21 hours depending on the heat treatment methods to be chosen and field applications.

Aim

At the end of this training program, quality and heat treatment engineers working in businesses that perform heat treatment commercially or in their own facilities will be able to manage heat treatment processes in accordance with CQI-9-4 published in June 2020. They will be ready for heat treatment evaluations made both by the customer and as internal audit. They are intended to be. In addition, one of the aims of the training is to ensure that the teams that will evaluate the competence of suppliers for companies purchasing indirect or direct heat treatment services are informed about the subject.

Required preliminary information

Basic heat treatment and furnace usage knowledge for practitioners of the standard, familiarity with quality practices for those who will use this standard as an evaluation document.

Target group

Technical personnel (technicians, technicians and engineers) who deal with heat treatment within the enterprise, quality and technical support personnel who perform internal or external inspections,
